Chip and I met at Truro Elementary school in the 3rd grade. Chip was a Truro kid and I grew up in Provincetown. All grown up and half a lifetime later, Chip is a Master Plumber in Eastham and I worked in Human Resources in Texas. After reconnecting on social media, Chip and I rekindled that flame from 3rd grade and he convinced me to move back to the cape.
A few years prior, Chip purchased a property with a dilapidated cottage attached to the main house. Chip gutted, re-configured the layout, and rebuilt the cottage himself piece by piece. While his idea was to turn the property into a rental, it just proved to be too difficult to do while running his busy plumbing business.
After finishing the renovations, the property sat unused until my arrival back on the Cape. My love of home décor, gardening, and event planning had finally found a home. I had a passion for hosting and helping others make memories. In 2016 we opened the Breeze to her first guests (www.heartofcapecod.com).
Chip and I are always quick to share a laugh and hope to bring a little light to someone’s day, no matter where we go.
With each reservation our intention is to create a memorable “experience” more than just a “stay”. The goal is to have our guests want to return to our properties year after year because we provide what their emotional centers (memories/insides) tie to the comfortable and clean surroundings we provide (properties/outside). We also understand that homeowners are emotionally tied to their properties as well. We treat each property as if it were our own, caring for it, and the homeowner, inside and out.
We thank you for stopping by and hope to see you soon!
